2022年のBET Soul Train Awardsの受賞者が発表

 

2022年のBET Soul Train Awardsの授賞式が11月26日（土）の夜、ついにラスベガスで開催された。ショーはアリ・レノックス、タンク、Xscapeなどの素晴らしいパフォーマンスで溢れていたが、授賞式のテレビ放映部分ではたった2つの賞が渡されただけだった。

R&Bの歌姫ムニ・ロングが大ヒットしたスロージャム「Hrs & Hrs」でThe Ashford and Simpson Songwriter's Awardを受賞し、ベストコラボレーション賞はロナルド・アイズリー&ザ・アイズリー・ブラザーズ feat.ビヨンセの「Make Me Say It Again, Girl」が受賞したことは視聴者の知るところとなりました。ビヨンセが受賞しました。

ビヨンセは、『ルネッサンス』で4度目のアルバム・オブ・ザ・イヤー、『ブレイク・マイ・ソウル』で3度目のソング・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞し、この夜最大の賞を総なめにした。

その他の主な受賞者は、クリス・ブラウンが最優秀R&B/ソウル男性アーティスト、テムズが最優秀新人アーティスト、シルクソニックが2年連続のビデオ・オブ・ザ・イヤーを受賞しています。アリ・レノックス、ブルナ・ボーイ、スティーブ・レイシーは残念ながらシャットアウトされた。

R&Bのベテラン、XscapeがLady Of Soul賞を受賞し、Morris DayとThe TimeがLegends賞を受賞した。
