ユタ/ソルトレイクシティのインディーロックバンド、The Moss（ザ・モス）がニューシングル「Darkness」をリリースした。バンドの音楽は、オーガニックインディーロックと呼ばれる。

S-Curve Records（Yola、Andy Tonglenをルースターに持つ）からリリースされたこのシングルは、輝く曲調、ユニークなビジョン、オーガニックなインディーロックで知られるThe Mossの1年以上ぶりの楽曲となる。 "Darkness "は、彼らの待望の次作EPからのリリースだ。
タイク・ジェイムス（ヴォーカル／ギター）とアディソン・シャープ（ギター）は、10代の仲間としてオアフ島の海岸からユタ州のグレート・ソルト・レイクに移り住み、ウィリー・ファウラー（ドラムス）、カイデン・ジャクソン（ベース）と共にザ・モスを結成した。 グループの主要ソングライターであるタイクは、自身の個人的な経験や情熱をザ・モスの晴れやかで陽気な楽曲に注ぎ込んでいる。

「Darkness」
Originating on the shores of Oahu as teenage buddies, Tyke James (vocals/guitar) and Addison Sharp (guitar) traded in beaches for the Great Salt Lake joining forces with Willie Fowler (drums) Caiden Jackson (bass) to form The Moss.
As the group’s principal songwriter, Tyke channels his own personal experiences and passions into The Moss’ radiant and deceptively sunny tunes—their unique version of organic indie rock draws from artists like Pinegrove and Kevin Morby for sonic inspiration.
The band’s insightful songs and memorable live shows have earned The Moss acclaim across the music press world, including Alternative Press, Under The Radar, The Alternative, LADYGUNN, Earmilk, Atwood Magazine and OnesToWatch.
Their new single "Darkness" is off of their highly anticipated forthcoming EP. Tyke of the band confides, “Darkness is written as this cyclical thought, of caring deeply about someone, but needing space from them to sort out your own emotions.”
