Halley Neal is an award-winning folk singer and songwriter whose music radiates warmth, positivity, and peace. Based in Boston by way of Nashville, Halley blends lyrical, heartfelt songwriting with soaring vocals and vibrant, bluegrass-inspired instrumentation. Often performing alongside her trio of upright bass and fiddle, her live shows are intimate, uplifting experiences that highlight her honest lyrics and effortlessly expressive voice.
A rising presence in the Americana and folk scenes, Halley has toured nationally, performing in listening rooms and folk venues across the country. She has graced the stages of major festivals including the Kerrville Folk Festival, Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Among her career highlights, Halley has opened for and shared the stage in a duet performance with Grammy-winning artist Sara Bareilles - an experience that reflects both her talent and growing recognition in the contemporary folk world.
Following the success of her critically acclaimed 2022 album Beautiful and Blue, Halley is set to release her next full-length record, Letter for a Friend, in fall 2025. Written as a collection of personal letters to the people who have shaped, influenced, and inspired her, the album was recorded in Nashville and reflects her most intimate and narrative-driven work to date.” The project is a concept record titled Letter For a Friend, with a tentative release date of September 2025. Every track on the album is written as a letter to someone who has deeply influenced or impacted my life - it's a very personal and intentional collection of songs that I’m really excited to share with the world.
Her new single "Emily" is a folk pop envelopment filled with lush acoustics, stunning vocals and blissful melodies. She shares, “Emily” is a song I wrote for my oldest friend, someone who shaped my childhood in quiet but profound ways. It’s about the kind of bond that leaves a permanent mark on your heart - even when time and distance pull you apart. Writing this song helped me reconnect not just with her, but with the part of myself she helped me believe in. It’s a reminder of how important it is to say the things we often leave unsaid. At its core, Emily is about gratitude, memory, and the power of a friendship that lasts through everything."

Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, Neutral Snap is the pop punk powerhouse of the southeast. Their energy can best be described as a 2005 Gusher’s commercial, bringing catchy hooks, hard riffs, and nostalgic breakdowns to Louisiana and beyond. Recently, they stepped into Audio Pilot Studio with Rob Freeman (Hidden in Plain View) and created the “I Hardly Know Her” EP. The collection of songs perfectly captures the nostalgic pop punk sound with a little extra energy and production. These songs were the first time Neutral Snap collaborated with other artists as well, having Tom Denney (A Day to Remember), Fred Mascherino (Taking Back Sunday, Say Anything, The Color Fred) and others assist in the songwriting process. “I Hardly Know Her” is a fresh take on a re-emerging sound that immediately grabs you and sucks you in.
The first single off of their forthcoming EP "Danny ACOG” was co written with Tom Denney, A Day To Remember, and is a timeless story of unrequited lust packaged in a sugar-coated explosive musical missile with punchy rhythms, sharp hooks and raw but melodic vocals, hitting that emotional sweet spot between angst and youthful optimism.
Their new single "Waltz" highlights that all too relatable "situationship" often found in romantic relationships. The band collaborated with Fred Mascherino (Say Anything, The Color Fred, Taking Back Sunday) and Rob Freeman (Hidden in Plain View) for the riveting release. "Waltz" features melodic hooks culminating into a chorus exploding with unfiltered emotion and a frantic energy that is uniquely theirs.
「”Be like the water”は、勇敢であることと、自分のエネルギーを守ることについて歌っている。
Minnesota gave her roots, and Tulsa gave her wings. Casii Stephan is an MN-born, indie-pop meets soul-rock singer-songwriter based in Tulsa, OK.
Casii’s “gorgeously emotive voice inspires comparisons to alt-pop artists like Florence Welch and Fiona Apple with a writing style reminiscent of Carole King” (NPR).
Stephan’s voice is fierce and fearless, but this was not always the case. She grew up shy and afraid of her voice until she started writing songs on the family piano when she was 16. Casii moved to Tulsa in 2014 with the intent to give up her pursuit of a music career, however with a little encouragement from a friend, she continued songwriting and started releasing music in 2016.
Since then, Casii has received national songwriting awards, toured regionally and internationally, performed official SXSW and Folk Alliance showcases, performed in NYC at A2IM, performed at the virtual Sundance Film Festival, and profiled on platforms such as Billboard, NPR, SPIN, and American Songwriter.
She recently returned from her first international tour with stops in Ireland and the UK. In Jan 2025, she was an official showcase artist at the “Your Roots are Showing” international music conference. She then returned to London to perform an official SXSW showcase in June.
Casii writes her songs honestly, from the depths of her emotions, with wide ranging themes including death and life, love and loss, and often pushing back on negative societal norms like sexism, ageism and “playing nice” as a woman. She uses writing to deconstruct her own beliefs with an underlying hope that things can change, inviting listeners on their own journey.
Casii’s diverse songwriting catalog is with TRO Essex Music Publishing, who represents talented folk writers such as Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, and iconic rock bands like The Who and Black Sabbath. Casii’s highly anticipated Relationship Status EP, produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes, St. Paul and the Broken Bones), was released in September 2024 on Shamus Records to rave reviews. “Each of these songs are great. Individually, they present a brilliant vocal and some very strong musical hooks, but when played together, ‘Relationship Status’ becomes bigger than the sum of its parts, with the songs representing a journey.” (Real Gone Rocks). Casii is currently in the studio writing and recording new songs. Her new single, a high-energy protest song,“King in America” is out now.
The track is a hard-hitting and explosive rock-drenched protest song against the perils of fascism and the current administration. Casii shares, "I'm mad. I was raised to believe in God's divine plan for America. That the monarchy was never meant for us. And now... they want a monarchy. They want to threaten my trans friends' lives and make them unwelcome in Oklahoma. They want to deport people who are near and dear to my family. They want to pick on the minority. Well, pick on me. I'm the majority. We're the majority. And if they think this country will go down without a fight? Darlings. We already won this war. I guess it's time to remember who we are. The home of the brave and the land of the free."
By his own admission, Andy Tongren is an optimist. “I really do try and find the silver lining any way I can,” says the Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter. “At my core, I feel like there’s nothing else I can do.”
That sunny disposition is the glowing core of his debut single “So Good.” The easygoing, compact tune is driven by an acoustic-backed verse before launching a blissful firework of a chorus that radiates joy and warmth - perfect for a summer playlist or a crucial year-round dopamine hit.
In one of art’s great ironies, Tongren says “So Good” was born of circumstances that were anything but. “It’s funny - it kind of came from a dark place,” he admits. “I’m living in a cold, dark basement on the outskirts of Bushwick, trying to get by day to day…Winter was starting and I think I just wanted to feel a little bit of warmth.”
Tongren wanted “So Good” to capture a vibe more than anything else. “I wasn’t overly precious with the approach to writing,” he explains. “All the minutiae that comes with blending art and commerce…it’s so easy to get caught up in that. On ‘So Good,’ I didn’t think - I just did. “If it’s a little bit off, leave it,” he continues. “There’s real human elements in this.”
And real human elements are what Tongren’s fans have loved about his work ever since the Ohio-born musician formed his previous band, Young Rising Sons with a tight-knit group of friends across the New York-New Jersey border. Their debut single “High” dazzled audiences, leading to a deal with Interscope Records and a dizzying tour schedule that found the group opening for The 1975, Weezer, Bleachers, Halsey and more.
"So Good" was quickly hailed by critics alike. OnesToWatch proclaimed Andy Tongren as a "pivotal voice in folk-pop", while We Found New Music called him an "impactful artist".
His second release "Franconia" is an anthemic indie folk single filled with a sing-a-long worthy foot-stomping chorus and poetic lyricism. Tongren shares, “Franconia is about falling in love - with a person, a place, or both all at once. It’s the sudden, undeniable pull that feels destined. Over time, Franconia becomes more than just a place - it becomes a state of mind, a memory, a metaphor for how certain people and places leave their mark on you.”
Andy Tongren is continuing to write an exciting new chapter of his career, leaving his mark and looking to return to the road and connect with fans who, like him, continue searching for the good against all odds.
”God Laughs"、"If We Fall"、そして最新曲 "TOO MUCH!"
Madison Margot is a Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter known for blending raw emotional storytelling with lush, cinematic soundscapes. A fifth-generation Angeleno, she began writing songs and playing guitar at eleven, turning personal experiences into vivid, unforgettable songs. She holds a bachelor's degree in Gender and Women's Studies and works exclusively with female directors to embrace and uplift women through her creative process.
Her debut project The Chronicles of Lovers, produced by Kyle Shearer (Tove Lo, Caroline Polachek, Carly Rae Jepsen), introduced her unique voice and emotionally charged style. Singles like “God Laughs,” “If We Fall,” and her latest, “TOO MUCH!”—a moody, slow-burning track co- produced with Tone Def (Nat & Alex Wolff)—showcase her gift for vulnerability and atmosphere.
After living in England for several years, Madison drew deep inspiration from the music scene there, a lasting influence on her sound and storytelling. Her work has been featured by Wonderland, Rolling Stone India, EARMILK, and Ones to Watch. With performances at venues like Madame Siam, The Peppermint Club, and The Viper Room, Madison’s live show blends emotional honesty with undeniable energy—making her an emerging pop voice who creates songs that feel like your own memories.
Her new single "Fun" is an indie pop meets rock track that is the soundtrack to the summer. She shares, "I wrote it about wanting just one more night with an old love, where you forget what went wrong and just relive the beauty and magic. It’s a song to dance around your room in the midst of heartbreak and healing. It’s a song for anyone who’s prone to romanticizing the past.”
Greg Freeman today has released his new single 'Gallic Shrug', the latest track from his highly anticipated album Burnover, out August 22 via Transgressive Records/Canvasback Music.
This song has a quality sound that combines Americana and rock, and features a light steel guitar style. Greg Freeman's vocals bring an austere yet refreshing impression.
"I was trying to look up lists of 'obscure expressions,' as in like weird old phrases or proverbs," Freeman explains. "The first thing that came up was 'Gallic Shrug,' a kind of niche physical expression, usually associated with French people–to convey indifference or lack of responsibility. I couldn't get that image out of my head. Its a very personal song revolving around this very heartbreaking gesture."
'Gallic Shrug' follows previous singles 'Curtain' and 'Point and Shoot', which earned praise and support from Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Paste, Brooklyn Vegan, Consequence, and more.
The rising singer/songwriter has a jam packed year ahead–he arrives in the UK for End of the Road festival in August and a newly announced in-store show at Rough Trade East on 3rd September, before starting a headline run across Europe.
Ahead of this, he plays NYC's Knockdown Center on 19th July with This Is Lorelei and then will cap it off with an October U.S. tour supporting Grandaddy. He just played Washington, D.C.'s Liberation Weekend festival, and recently wrapped up a tour with Hamilton Leithauser (The Walkmen) as well as a EU headlining tour, including festival appearances at The Great Escape & Dot to Dot Festival.
When Freeman quietly released his debut LP I Looked Out in 2022, it had no PR campaign, label, or music industry promo, but still garnered praise from notable critics, with Steven Hyden of UPROXX calling it “my favorite album of 2022 that I discovered in 2023,” and Paste Magazine naming it among the 25 Best Debut Albums of the 2020s. The word-of-mouth success of that release had Freeman on a relentless tour schedule.
Explosive, unsettling, and undeniable, the 10 tracks presented on Burnover meld energetic indie rock with an ambling twang. The album truly shines when Freeman tweaks the formula, like his previous single ‘Curtain'. Originally demoed as a meandering guitar jam, the track came to life when pianist Sam Atallah tracked a tack-piano take at the studio.
His lively leads invigorate the song, especially as Freeman sings lines like, “My thoughts die out slowly on the blood swept plains where I see you every night / And to the lonely hours, it’s like burning the furniture to keep the house bright at night.” Freeman says, “As soon as Sam laid down the piano, we heard the song for what it was and it came alive.”
Burnover is Freeman’s most adventurous and personal yet, cementing him as a singular songwriting talent.

Best New Track- Gina Zo 「Only Bad Men Make Me Feel This Way」
Lonely Since The Day We Met "の、愛したことのない人と一緒にいるという胸に迫る真実から、"
今年2枚目のソロ・リリースとなる "Only Bad Men Make Me Feel This Way "は、強さと弱さが同居した、内省的な別れのアンセムだ。
Only Bad Men Make Me Feel This Way "で、ジーナ・ゾーはこれまでで最も個人的な作品を発表し、私たちに「癒しは直線的なものではなく、大きな音で感じられるものだ」と気づかせてくれた。
Los Angeles singer Gina Zo has released her introspective pop-folk breakup anthem “Only Bad Men Make Me Feel This Way”.
A music video was also released at the same time. The Grammy Award-winning producer is sending out a singer who is expected to do big things in the future. This new single offers a taste of Gina Zoe's world-class, amazing vocal talent.
*Gina Zo: A Fearless Symphony of Identity, Rebellion, and Empowerment**
Gina Zo, a powerhouse vocalist hailing from the suburbs of Philadelphia and now making waves in LA, is not just a rock-pop singer-songwriter—she’s a beacon of authenticity and empowerment within every performance, song, and beat. With her bisexuality boldly declared in her 2023 anthem “Faking It,” Gina has transformed her personal journey into a powerful narrative for the LGBTQIA+ community, proving that true identity is a form of rebellion against conformity and that the tribe you ride with is where you truly belong. Her journey was further shaped by her time on The Voice as a member of Team Blake, where Gwen Stefani's mentorship led her to discover a unique authenticity within herself—so profound that it brought her to tears after their first meeting, as Stefani challenged her to be more genuine.
Her musical influences, from the soulful strains of Norah Jones to the mystical allure of Stevie Nicks, shaped her artistry from a young age. Family moments with her grandparents in her youth were spent dancing with flashlights as strobe lights and singing into makeshift microphones laid the foundation for a passion that would later ignite her career. Gina’s early days were a whirlwind of homemade videos and impromptu performances, a testament to her unyielding spirit.
At just 18, Gina signed with an indie label in Philadelphia, where she soon faced the harsh realities of the music industry. Disillusioned by its darker side, she stepped away, only to feel an undeniable pull back to her true calling after a breakup that left her reaching for her lost identity. Reuniting with her original band, she forged Velvet Rouge, a rock band that embodies defiance and the pursuit of artistic freedom.
Velvet Rouge’s debut EP, released in 2024, is a visceral journey through Gina’s soul. From the haunting truth of being with someone you never loved in “Lonely Since The Day We Met” to the deep conflict of not knowing who you are or what you should be in “I Don’t Know Why,” the EP resonates with raw, unapologetic emotion. Produced by the esteemed Brian McTear and Amy Morrissey (The War on Drugs, Dr. Dog, Sharon Van Etten), it channels the gritty essence of early 2000s rock and ‘90s grit, offering a soundtrack to the struggles and triumphs of self-discovery.
Gina's return to the industry was not just a comeback but a revolution. With Velvet Rouge, she’s leading a charge against the systemic barriers faced by women in music, advocating for change both on stage and behind the scenes. Gina’s focus is to champion young artists in all mediums: her 2023 Grammy dress, designed by Lauren Schuler, embodied her fusion of elegance and rebellious spirit, making a statement that transcends fashion.
Honored as Best Rock Band in Philly in late 2022 and celebrated in Philly Style Magazine as "Philly's Hottest Rock Band," Velvet Rouge’s impact is undeniable. Their powerful performances at festivals such as XPoNential Fest, MusikFest, and Beardfest; along with features on NPR’s National Public Radio Day and WXPN’s Free At Noon showcase their role as trailblazers in the rock genre.
Gina Zo's first single Dirty Habits, is a rock-pop ballad all about how our dreams are better than reality. The song received much critical acclaim with LADYGUNN proclaiming the track as "a bold debut" while Melodic Magazine called it "a wildly imaginative anthem".
Her second solo release of the year, “Only Bad Men Make Me Feel This Way" is a reflective breakup anthem that’s equal parts strength and vulnerability. Gina leans fully into her singer-songwriter roots on this track, showcasing the lyrical depth and emotional clarity that have long set her apart. Blending warm acoustic guitar with shimmering synth textures, the song captures the rollercoaster of post-breakup freedom, those moments when you know you're better off, yet still feel the sting of what’s gone. Produced by Justin Miller and Time Sonnefeld, the track is both intimate and expansive, allowing Gina’s vocals to cut through with raw honesty. It’s a summer breakup song built for late-night drives, tearful porch dances, and scream-singing with your best friends. This is the sound of a woman piecing herself back together, laughing louder, loving herself harder, and writing the kind of chorus that sticks with you long after the last note fades. With “Only Bad Men Make Me Feel This Way,” Gina Zo delivers her most personal work to date, reminding us all: healing isn’t linear, but it can be loud.
Living in LA, she finds solace in cooking from scratch, strolling around Silver Lake Reservoir, and immersing herself in murder novels (she promises she is not plotting to kill an ex). For Gina Zo, music is more than a career—it’s a platform to inspire young women to embrace their true selves and to reject any mold that seeks to confine them in their identity, sexuality, and career. Through her fearless artistry and unbreakable spirit, Gina Zo is rewriting the rules and leading a revolution in the world of pop-rock music.
